This is a well maintained property located in the middle of the tea estate and we stayed here for 3 days in the super deluxe 1 room with a balcony having a serene view of the hills. Had a chance to witness Malabar whistling thrush birds which sang beautiful melodies every morning during our entire stay here. We can experience the mist during early mornings and evenings. We can play shuttle, basketball and indoor games like carrom, billiards, chess and kids games also. Separate play area available for kids. Staffs here are professional, polite and well behaved. They provide good food here at an affordable rate and I loved their authentic Kerala meals. Room service is also good. Overall we had a great stay here and I will recommend this place to my friends. ~ Anto A

Our family was there for a day. The location is very good . Saw some reviews mentioning about the road, but its not an issue because most of it is concreted. The ambience is Excellent ; quite and peaceful and even during this peak summer the climate was pleasant. The entire lay out is very impressive and the cottages are apart for sufficient privacy. The design of the cottages are also very good with balcony for each bed room. The common living space for each cottage has refrigerator , TV etc for each cottage. There is sufficient recreational facilities.The warmth of the staff and the very presence of the owner himself made lot of difference. The food is very good. We enjoyed the open air dinner. Above all its maintained very well. We would certainly go back to spend couple of days. ~ Suresh N

Me and my friends recently had the pleasure of staying at the Falcon Crest, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of tranquility and security that set the tone for our entire stay. The location of the resort, nestled amidst the rolling hills, offered breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding with my friends. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage.The rooms were very spacious and was very neat and clean. The food was delicious and the hospitality of the staff was commendable. The staff arranged everything we needed inside the resort as well for our sightseeing. We had a memorable stay in Falcon. Very beautiful resort. No wonder why this is famous in Vagamon. Will meet all your expectations. Beautiful rooms, location, food, ambience, hospitality, friendly staffs, and everything is good about this resort. One can spend 1 day or even a week in this resort leisurely. You won't be bored. Tips : choose super deluxe rooms - views are awesome from balcony. If you're a family of 8-10 then you can go for cottages for cost effective. One need to get pass 5-6 hp bends to reach the resort. But they maintain that stretch well. So just be prepared and it's worth that extra effort to reach the resort. Overall, you can blindly choose this resort for your stay in Vagamon. Falcon Crest is a charming resort nestled in the serene hills of Wagamon, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and comfort. We stayed in a two-storied villa, which was spacious and well-appointed, featuring all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The resort is well-maintained, and the attention to detail in the upkeep is evident throughout the property. The culinary experience was delightful, with the morning buffet offering a variety of delicious dishes that catered to different tastes. Falcon Crest Resort is located in Vagamon of Idukki district of Kerala. Vagamon is a tourists paradise and such a resort located in the lush green tea gardens adds a charm to your stay, a comfortable stay in destination. Falcon Crest Resort is having several types of rooms to offer and good location to chill out. The resort is beautiful with all amenities and security. CCTV coverage, parking assistance, room service, restaurant dining, neat and clean rooms and big washrooms, elegant views etc. The resort is not much costly. Anyone can afford this. Come here to stay. And enjoy all the facilities and views. All cars can be driven here. Road is ok ok. No need to worry about that. There are 4 hairpin bends to reach the resort. ~ Reejo U

I would love to take extra time to review this place. 1. Firstly the sign board to this place is a tiny effort which most properties ignore. They have sign boards at each and every curve to make sure you don't get lost 2. The rooms are clean and spacious. 3. The view is amazing overlooking the tea gardens 4. Food was the show stopper. Loved everything we ordered. Especially the fish mango curry with idiyappam. And reasonably priced. Their breakfast menu was good too. 5. We enjoyed bonfire and played music. Also made sure we don't disturb other guests. Dinner by the bonfire was too good A budget friendly place which offers excellence in everything. It just lacks a swimming pool to call themselves a luxury experience resort. ~ Pavithra V

One of the best place one can stay in vegamon is falcon crest. They have all the facilities required by someone on a vacation. In house menu is not that expensive either. The staff is very helpful and kind. The place is located in pure natural environment. Although reaching the hotel is a little tough for people who are scared to drive on hilly terrain but There are various hotels at the hilltop where the hotel is located they have paved a concrete road which is perfect to drive as well. Hence I didn't face any problem reaching the hotel. Took the hotel as a pitstop for my onward journey but ended up loving the place so much. They have multiple play areas for adults as well as for the children. ~ Rajat S

Me and my family stayed at the Super Deluxe Room 2 from 28th November to 30th November, 2021. From the time we reached the resort, we got a very warm welcome by the resort staff and also by the owners of the resort owners. The stay was excellent. Food was really tasty great. Room service and other services by the staff were also excellent. Rooms, the dining area and the entire resort is neat and clean. The pricing is nominal and reasonable. In general we had a great stay, great food, great service and excellent hospitality by the resort people. The view from the room was panoramic. We really enjoyed our stay at this Falcon Crest Resort, Vagamon. We wish all the very best to the resort and its owners. ~ JOHN E

From the warm welcome, attentiveness of the staff, cordiality and cheerfulness of service - all helped in making this a perfect vacation! The cottage is very thoughtfully constructed and the view was breathtaking. The cleanliness and maintenance is worth mentioning. The food was lip smacking authentic local cuisine.. The manager informed us aboht the possibility of having a jeep sight seeing tour and also drew us the map which we could use if we were going on our own. We chose the jeep ride and had the time of our life!! We requested the driver and guide to take us to places and on a trip which would be difficult to go by our car! And well... He made our trip so custom-made with lots of off roading experinces, the picturesque view points - it was just perfect! This was the best vacation in a long time for us... ~ Mangala N

We were supposed to spend one day at Vagamon.. Once we reached Falcon Crest, we dropped all other plans and decided to stay for one more day. View from the balcony is so eyegasmic .. Room rent is too low for such a neat and spacious room .. We stayed at both standard and deluxe rooms .. Room space is almost same .. For the view from deluxe room balcony, it is worth spending extra 800-1000 INR .. We had food from balcony .. Its an extra special feeling .. Approach road to hotel reception is not in good condition .. But I enjoyed the adventurous drive. Hotel staffs were very courteous, especially the hotel manager Mr. Jintu .. I will recommend it to my friends n family .. Will definitely visit again .. ~ Arjun G

The resort has a great ambience and amazing room. I opted for a super deluxe room. The staff was very courteous. The only bad thing i felt was the way to the resort. The road is a bit narrow and has 5 hairpins😆😁. But later on i started enjoying the way. The food i had from the resort was chicken fried rice and chilly chicken. To be frank on the side,it was really amazing. When i had the menu card in hand,i thought the food would be average or below avg as the customers hav no other option than to eat from there. But the food was super cool. The staffs were very courteous and thr rooms were nice. They have a small play area which has small games like carrom snake and ladder chess billiards etc ~ Vishnu S

I stayed here for two days. I really felt at being home, the room was very spacious, the bathrooms were super clean and the view from the balcony during morning was really beautiful. I felt close to nature and relaxed because the atmosphere was calm and quiet. I could sit on their balcony for hours because it was very refreshing. Another point to note is the service, it is very quick and the staff was very responsive and professional.I would like to thank each one of them for their service.The food was excellent, not fancy one, but it had a homemade quality and was appetizing. As a person who loves to be with nature, I loved the place. One thing is for sure, that I'll be coming here again to have a great time. ~ Chinchu J

I stayed in falcon last weekend , with my family took 2 bedded cottage which looked clean and maintained , bathrooms looked fresh renovated, view from balcony is superb Mr Jacob who took my booking was kind in followups . Mr ajeesh in FRONT OFFICE attentive and interactive with us for food follow-ups and sightseeing guidance ,arrangements for jeep safaris etc We also enjoyed Campfire on request Especially the food was served with good taste, but only limited menu (may be coz of Corona) we tried one day outside which is too horrible, so having food within restaurant is suggestive one .. Roads leading to resort is difficult , too steep drives so reaching before dark is better We are totally happy with the stay . ~ Saravanan A

Awesome cottage/resort with a very good clean maintained ambience. The location is very good, where we feel to be in middle of the tea estate. Also the scenic view from balcony is more enough to just sit and feel for the whole day. The food is also good and hygiene (which is more important for a tourist spot) with much better pricing. The service are perfect. And finally the route to the resort from bottom of the slope, is simply amazing for a drive lover. Newbie driver, should be careful, but you will get a nearly off-road experience as it is narrow and quite steeper. Overall - Such a good place to stay for family or friends. May be the property can add few more play things like Slides, Swings & Trampoline for kids. Atleast i did not see that as i didn't brought kids. Again, one of the best place to stay in Vagamon. ~ Rajaraman R

Our stay at this resort was wonderful. The views were beautiful, especially overlooking the tea plantations, which made the whole experience very relaxing. The welcome drink and breakfast were delightful, and the grape juice served at breakfast was especially excellent. The food overall was delicious we tried breakfast and dinner and the service of employees were very polite and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The only small downsides were that the pool felt a bit small, and it would have been nice if it were larger to better accommodate bigger groups and families with children. Also, the beds felt a little small for two adults and a toddler to sleep comfortably. Aside from these minor points, everything else was great. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality and would definitely recommend this resort. We look forward to coming back again. 🌿😊 ~ Linda A

The rooms are the cleanest we’ve experienced in India, with a very comfortable bed. The room (standard) has great views to wake up to and it is only a 15 minute walk up through the tea plantation to a viewpoint that you can watch the sunrise. The location isn’t amazing for sunset, but that is purely due to the side of the hill that the property is built on. I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to relax and breathe some fresh air. The food was good, the parottas were incredible - I think the best we’ve had yet. The staff are attentive and respectful. We didn’t do any excursions due to having similar experiences booked for the rest of our trip, but the prices seemed fair ~ Luca

We opted for the villa Selene Casa, a standard two-bedroom cottage, and it turned out to be an extremely comfortable stay. The hospitality was absolutely top-notch ; I would especially like to mention Mr. Sasi, who truly elevated our experience and was always available to take care of our needs. The view from the room was serene and wonderfully peaceful. Unlike many resorts that promise a complimentary breakfast but serve very basic food with no real flavour, this place completely changed that perception. The breakfast here was exceptionally good — fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything served was made from scratch on-site, and you could feel the quality in every bite. ~ Shivani M

We traveled from Chennai. Found this resort randomly courtesy of google and stayed for 2 nights. Excellent view on top of a hill amidst a tea plantation. The Villa had separate balconies for two bedrooms and also a living room where you can enjoy the climate & mountain views. The rooms were neat and clean & the food was so good along with the service which was equally top-notch. It's really value for money and a special mention of property Manager Ajeesh who was extremely responsive and made our stay a memorable & worthy one. Stayed in 2 bedroom Villa Parking - Dedicated to Villa at its entrance. Food - 5 stars - Service was on time, and excellent Overall - Top & value for money. ~ Vijaysekar P

We loved the mountain view. Really beautiful.. Not crowded and so had a great family time. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and of course, very well maintained. The restaurant has a nice menu with a wide variety of dishes. We loved the food here, especially the "Kerala style meals" a lot. They also have a Club House (game room) with Carrom board, billiards, a ball house for children, etc. Happy to be served by well mannered and well trained staff. They also helped us to get an off road drive experience to watch the sunrise and sunset at Vagamon. Overall, it was such an amazing time at Falcon Crest. The BEST stay in Vagamon! 🌿✨ From start to end, this place gave me a dream-like experience. The hospitality? Top class. The food? Simply Vera level – every dish was packed with authentic taste and quality. The service and patience of the staff? Truly impressive. I’m already planning my next visit!🤩 Location? Damn, SO GOOD! The climate was magical – clouds passing by, soft sunlight peeking through, a light drizzle… all of it felt like a movie scene. 🌥️🌦️☀️ Every moment spent here was wonderful and unforgettable. 💯 MUST-VISIT PLACE IN VAGAMON! Highly recommendable place for those who are looking forward to find a space to spend some good time with your loved ones. It is located 4-5 kms away from wagamon but it is accessible ( map is correct ).The entry to the resort is awesome with 5 hair pin bends. The guests are welcomed very warmly. The staffs are extremely cooperative. On reaching the place everything was well arranged.I booked a super delux room.iT has a dining, spacious bedroom and all the amenities required and everything is kept very neat and tidy. The balcony view was excellent. Next point , the food- I honestly didn't expect such great food from a resort. I have been to many other resorts but the food from here was excellent. Food was delivered to the room when asked. Overall it was a great experience. With out any doubt you can recommend this to your friends and family. ~ Hanu C

You couldn't ask for more. By far one of the best resort visited in vagamon. Thrilled by the drive to the resort. Hospitality at its best. Resort ppl are so nice that they will make sure your stay is smooth. They welcome you, make you comfortable. Stayed with family in a cottage. Spacious neat and clean rooms. Basic amenities available. Resort location is excellent. Beautiful picturesque view from the location. Food is very good. Facilities available in the resort are cycling, trekking to a close by hill top, billiards, fishing, indoor games for children. Jeep safari also available here. Place was foggy and windy something we all enjoyed. Resort manager and owner were very kind and friendly. No matter whatever happens they will ensure your stay is safe and happy. Family and children enjoyed their time. A big thanks to the ppl of the resort. Looking forward for more visits. ~ Anil K
